EMMAC — Comprehensive service for achieving climate neutrality
Comprehensive climate neutrality, well defined and better implemented.
Mesura, redueix i reporta emissions amb EMMAC, la plataforma de Tema. Estalvis mesurables, traçabilitat preparada per a auditoria i una cadena de subministrament sense friccions.
EMMAC (Emissions Mitigation and Management for Climate Neutrality) is Tema’s end-to-end service that combines expert consultancy and a digital platform to measure, reduce, and report your organization’s emissions, with full traceability, measurable savings, and an aligned supply chain.
Prioritised reduction plan based on €/tCO₂e and KPI tracking (kWh, €/MWh, tCO₂e) for energy, process heat, logistics, and materials.
Evidence linked to each data point, change control, and a decision trail that simplifies external verification and avoids rework.
Bulk/automated data uploads, emission factor suggestions, conversions, and reporting in minutes; dashboards by plant, line, and supplier.
Onboarding with minimal data requirements and standard templates for suppliers; improves Scope 3 data quality where material.
The EU framework has simplified reporting, keeps limited assurance verification, restricts what can be requested from SMEs, and provides digital templates: less burden, more useful data, and a clear timeline (entry into force 03/2026; transposition 03/2027).
Climate materiality, data collection, and carbon footprint calculation (Scopes 1–2–3) following best practices (e.g. ISO 14064).
Minimum data kits and progress dashboards for suppliers; fewer back-and-forth interactions, more operational continuity.
Clear, traceable reports ready for limited external assurance and for commercial use in procurement and tenders.
Operational savings in energy, fuel, and logistics, with documented return for each measure.
Eligibility.
Greater eligibility in procurement and tenders thanks to clear, comparable reports.
Reduced internal workload and fewer audit rework cycles thanks to traceability.
The EU has opted to simplify the framework: focus on large companies, limited assurance verification, voluntary standards for pymes, and supporting digital templates. For many companies, the first reporting cycle will start from 2028 following the “stop-the-clock” measure, providing a real window to structure data and gain competitive advantage.
It integrates advisory services and a platform in a single solution, with audit-ready traceability, prioritisation by €/tCO₂e, and supplier modules, reducing internal workload and accelerating decision-making.
Yes. The approach includes assessment, structured data collection, and data quality rules to build the baseline and progress iteratively, avoiding rework.
Before/after per measure: consumption (kWh), cost (€/MWh), avoided emissions (tCO₂e), and €/tCO₂e; all integrated into exportable dashboards.
Yes. The reporting aligns with the EU simplification framework: more quantitative requirements, limited assurance, and restrictions on the information that can be requested from SMEs, with a defined timeline already in place.
